Accuracy is an ongoing responsibility

Corrections Policy

Readers can report factual errors, unclear safety wording or outdated guidance through our contact page.

How to report an issue

Include the page URL, the statement in question, why it may be incorrect and any authoritative source that supports the concern. Select “Correction” in the inquiry field so the subject reaches the editorial workflow.

How we evaluate corrections

Editors check the original source, newer authoritative guidance and the scope of the claim. Minor typographical fixes may be made silently; meaningful factual changes are reflected in the article and its updated date.

Health-information updates

Safety-relevant corrections are prioritised. If uncertainty remains, we narrow or temporarily remove the claim rather than presenting confidence we do not have.

Transparency

We do not erase reasonable differences in interpretation, but we correct demonstrable errors. Readers who submitted a report may receive a response when contact details and capacity allow.
