Evidence before certainty

Sources Policy

The quality of a wellness explanation depends on the evidence underneath it and the honesty of the language around it.

Preferred sources

We prioritise peer-reviewed research, the World Health Organization, national public-health agencies, recognised medical institutions, professional associations, clinical guidelines and authoritative first-party material.

How sources are used

A source must support the actual claim, not merely mention the same topic. We consider recency, study design, population, limitations, conflicts and whether the conclusion applies to general readers.

What we do not fabricate

We do not invent studies, DOI numbers, researchers, statistics, quotations, guidelines or expert reviews. If evidence is limited or mixed, the article should say so.

Further reading

Sensitive health articles include visible sources and further reading. Links are provided for context, not as endorsements of every statement on an external site.
